I am a research faculty member in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. I also work as a research consultant for NG Strategies. I earned a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2024. My current research focuses on addressing pediatric mental and behavioral health disparities, evaluating global health responses to COVID-19, and expanding mobile health initiatives in rural communities.
My research interests focus on examining multilevel (individual, interpersonal, environmental, and systemic) factors that influence healthcare access and utilization and population health outcomes. I am committed to understanding and addressing the complex social determinants of health using rigorous methodologies, including quasi-experimental causal inference and geospatial data science. In addition, I apply innovative strategies, such as integrating and analyzing diverse, large-scale datasets, optimizing prediction algorithms to address missing data, and utilizing mixed-methods approaches.
I am passionate about translating my research into practice and policy through multidisciplinary collaboration, effective storytelling, and data visualization to engage a wide range of audiences. Feel free to contact me to connect or collaborate!
